I live in Oklahoma and live in ...I'm a redneck. I live in Oklahoma and live in a trailer with 3 cars that don't run sitting outside of it. I am also making a 4.0 in college and going after my BA in English Lit. I plan to improve my writing skills and finish the two books I have started, and maybe tutor on the side for extra income. Believe it or not, I love classical music and the theatre. I study the Japanese culture in my spare time, and am currently working toward learning the very complex Japanese Tea Ceremony. I love Edgar Allen Poe, William Blake, and the theological works of C. S. Lewis. Never once have I seen a member of my family marry or have children with another member of my family. I have never been arrested for domestic violence, and I have never made moonshine. (I have made a very delicate dandilion wine which was very highly praised by my friends.) Obviously, I am computer literate. As a matter of fact, I own four computers. My children have a desktop computer, and they use my netbook for school and games. I have a desktop and a laptop that I use for writing and for school. I have a very delicate palatte and can critique a wine or chocolate with actual terminology used in the trade. I have an above average intelligence. I never let my kids run around outside the trailer naked. Nor do I own a pickup truck. Sterotypes are often based on something real, but they rarely scratch the surface of the complexities of the human experience. After reading this article, I may look closer at some of my often believed sterotypes. May it do the same for you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
