Age 50+ Senior Discounts: Businesses in Scioto County

We all can stand to save some money, especially seniors on a fixed income and a tight budget. Every nickel and dime counts, so if you seniors want to save a little money, try these discounts. 

I just read an interesting article concerning senior discounts. I decided to make this a brief entry featuring some Scioto County businesses that supposedly offer these discounts. I was actually surprised to see how discounts there are and how some of them start at the young age of 50.

Gatti's Pizza: 10% off (60+)
Golden Corral: 10% off (60+)
McDonald's: discounts on coffee everyday ( 55+)
Sonic: 10% off or free beverage (60+)
Wendy's: 10% off ( 55 +)

Retail and Apparel

Big Lots: 30% off
Goodwill: 10% off one day a week (date varies by location)
Kmart: 40% off (Wednesdays only) ( 50+)
Rite Aid: 10% off on Tuesdays & 10% off prescriptions
The Salvation Army Thrift Stores: up to 50% off ( 55+)

Grocery

Kroger: 10% off (date varies by location)

Overnight Accommodations

Holiday Inn: 20-40% off depending on location (62+)
Best Western: 40% off (55+)
Comfort Inn: 20%-30% off (60+)

Super 8 Motel

SeniorDiscounts members receive 5% off of the best Rate of the Day. To receive the promotional rate, reservations must be made in advance online or by calling the toll-free phone number. ID# 26146 must be used online or mentioned at time of reservation to ensure the proper rate. Special rates are also available to seniors 60 and older and AARP members.

Taco Bell

Many locations provide either a free drink or senior discounted drink with the purchase of a meal, other locations may provide a discounts of up to 10% off the entire order.
